Moonwhite, on the edge of this pretty Klein Karoo village with beautiful views of the surrounding area is a perfect place to relax, cool down and chill after a hard days wine tasting, touring, lunching or whatever it is you are doing in the Breede River Valley.

A house designed and built by the current owners to be enjoyed in both summer and winter.

In summer, open up the Kitchen folding doors on to the verandah which leads on to the enclosed garden and plunge pool making one big entertainment area with braai facilities next to the pool. The rooms are kept cool with fans and shutters and loads on insulation above the ceilings.

In winter, stoke up a fire using the kitchen and living/dining room with exposed timber trusses as your entertainment area. Bedrooms have electric blankets and
wall panel heaters.

We don’t do pets, smoking inside, television, DSTV, DVD, video, radio, CD, stereo, microwave...

A five minute walk from the village centre. We do hundreds of birds at the crack of dawn, the silent night (maybe the odd cricket), the occasional call of a pair of fish eagles (they nest in the tall gum tree on the river), the splash of the pool fountain...

One double bedroom with an en-suite shower and separate toilet. Double doors leading on to the garden and pool.
