Dove Cottage
It consists of a main bedroom with a small sitting area and a Victorian stove, a bathroom with a shower, and a kitchenette with a microwave, two-plate stove and oven, and a bar fridge. There is also a lovely little kitchen courtyard with a braai area.
The loft is a writers’ den with a library and can be reached by a steep ladder.
The outside bath is an experience while looking at the stars. Don’t forget your bubble bath and bubbles. The view overlooks the olive groves and mountains.A quaint breakaway for 2. A Kolkol is not a kind of bird or animal, it is a wood fired hot tub. Definitely the closest to heaven anyone can get while looking up to the stars
Views forever and Silence is the attraction point, mountain biking and long distance running is for the energetic? R2N already proof this. Nothing that makes a noise is allowed and it is a declared Leopard friendly farm. Exquisite wild flowers most of the year. Not a one night destination, my suggestion, min of 3 nights. A 4×4 is a must but we can also fetch and deliver and fetch you again for a extra fee.
No bedding, towels or pillows, bring your own. Safe enclosed braai with potjies and all cutlery and crockery.
On saying goodbye, please do not leave a footprint, take everything down the mountain. We will recycle the dry loo contents and collect the buckets.
This is a dream destination for artists, writers and photographers or anybody that can appreciate the simple magnitude of nature.
To stay in an olive grove and look on a poplar forest changing color through the year is bliss. Romance on wheels.
This is a real gem. Standing on Iron wheels, this Tiny home is equiped with a queen size bed, small kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a compost toilet, far away from the bustle of village life. A place where you experience how little you need to be happy. Only 2 km from the village. An outside old “pootjies” bath with hot and cold water is the ultimate bath experience in the olive grove.
