The Barn is a quaintly rebuilt and renovated old farm shed or barn, with sash windows and shutters and dark beamed ceilings, and offers accommodation in 3 separate bedrooms for 5 persons. The unit is furnished with antique furniture, carpets and paintings collected over many years. The large open plan kitchen and lounge has a fireplace to warm cold Winter’s nights and in Summer a glass sliding door leading to the veranda, allows a cool breeze to enter. Stunning views are to be had over the Riviersonderend Mountains and Klein Karoo. Come and stay at The Barn for a relaxing break from the city rush and enjoy the small-town buzz of McGregor, founded in 1861, a small heritage dorpie with 1900 style historical architecture.
