Tigh Na Breagha, which means House of Beauty in Scots Gaelic, is an extremely private holiday home with a wonderful garden, a massive stoep, a swimming pool and breathtaking views over the Langeberg mountains in the distance.

Set in the upper village, next door to a small organic farm, Tigh-na-Breagha (pronounced Ty-na-Breeya) has the feeling of being deep in the countryside, while being close to all village amenities.

The house has a beautiful flow, with the living area and kitchen opening onto a shaded stoep with magnificent views over a much-loved garden to the Langeberg mountains in the distance. There is a beautiful Karoo-style pool (5mx3m) finished off with stylish Moroccan tiles. There is also a winter stoep that benefits from the winter sun.

The large, bright kitchen has a La Germania gas range oven and is a wonderful space for cooking. It opens onto a 6-seater dining table and a comfortable lounge with an adobe fireplace, which gives off wonderful warmth in the winter. There is a television with Netflix and complimentary WIFI.

The house has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, dressing area and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed, child-size bunk beds, and is alongside a shower room and toilet.

From the house you can walk to all coffee shops and restaurants, and it’s enjoy an easy stroll on the Krans to the dam where the locals love to swim.
