Tebaldi’s Restaurant @ Temenos

Tebaldis‘s restaurant has been on the culinary scene in McGregor for many a year. Under the leadership of a number of great chefs, it has grown to become a landmark restaurant serving the people of McGregor as well as, and especially the guests of Temenos Retreat. Named after the famous Italian soprano Renata Tebaldi it has its own very special and unique flare. The beautiful green and shady area at the front of the restaurant on Voortrekker Street Street is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast, hearty lunch or divine dinner on those hot and sultry McGregor days. Walking into the beautiful building which houses the main restaurant and kitchen, one is transported into a space of beauty. The Terrace of Tebaldis‘s opens up onto the magnificent TEMENOS Gardens.

we are delighted to welcome Angelo Stipinovich and Patrick Fleckenstein.

Angelo was born in Pretoria where he also went to school. He then moved to Germany in 1987 to study and lived in Europe until 2019. Patrick grew up in a little town close to the city of Speyer in Germany and after completing his university degree and working for 10 years decided to immigrate with Angelo to South Africa. They settled in Scarborough and went on to found and run the successful restaurant and Deli “Italos” in the heart of Newlands. In 2024 they sold their restaurant and moved to McGregor. At the beginning of October, they agreed to take over the management of Tebaldis‘s restaurant at Temenos Retreat.
