A Weekend Retreat Exploring Compassion and the Wisdom of the Feminine

Awakening the Heart is an intimate three-day retreat hosted at Home of Bliss. The small-group setting allows for personal attention, meaningful conversation, quiet reflection, and time to step away from the demands of everyday life.
Throughout the weekend, you will be guided through a carefully structured journey that moves from opening the heart and embodying compassion to mindful communication, sacred sound, and cultivating greater awareness in everyday life.
The retreat brings together contemplative teachings and practical wellbeing experiences, including breathwork, gentle mindful movement, a cacao ceremony, journaling, meditation, mantra, group reflection, therapeutic sound journeys, and a closing sound bath.
The programme also explores qualities associated with the wisdom of the feminine through the symbolic teachings. These teachings are presented in an inclusive and accessible way, making the retreat suitable for anyone interested in personal reflection, compassion, mindfulness, and inner wellbeing.
Hosted over the Women’s Day long weekend, the retreat offers an opportunity to combine a meaningful wellbeing experience with time in McGregor, a village known for its peaceful atmosphere, natural surroundings, walking routes, local restaurants, and slower pace of life.
R3,500 per person (A 50% deposit secures your place)
Accommodation is not included, allowing participants to choose from the guesthouses, cottages, and other accommodation options available in McGregor. Local accommodation recommendations can be provided on request.
