Vrolijkheid is a mountainous and spectacular nature reserve. The rocky landscape is starkly beautiful, dominated by patches of succulents, dwarf trees, and shrubs. Vrolijkheid or “Happiness” is aptly named in the spring when bright orange botterblom daisies bloom across the reserve.
Vrolijkheid has five self-catering accommodation options, they accommodate up to eight people each and come completely furnished with an outside braai area, a wood fired hot tub in all the units, and a pool in one.
